There are many bike-friendly trails in and through Alvesta. The longest stretch is Banvallsleden from Halmstad on the Swedish west coast to Karlshamn on the eastern shore. If you prefer the scenery of Småland the four day tour Åsnen Runt is well recommended. Both trails run along the old railway through beautiful countryside and picturesque villages.
