n 2025 she completed the recording of her second album entitled The Brightest Sun, a work that originates from the radical reorientation of new motherhood. If Karthago was shaped by ashes, the new chapter is shaped by water: fluid, luminous and tidal. Her most personal work to date, The Brightest Sun marks a stylistic and evolutionary shift for Ilaria Capalbo. It is set to release on June 12, 2026.

Kvintetten som skulle inlett höstsäsongen 2025 (stormen Amy kom i vägen), blir nu istället final-akt för vårsäsongen.
Musiken är komponerad av Capalbo speciellt för det namnkunniga bandet, inspiration hämtas bland annat från olika historiska händelser. Således ingen slump att bandets första CD är betitlad “Karthago” (Bluenord Records).
