In the fall of 2025, the frontman of gender rock will take his place in theaters. The Blekinge Kronoberg Regional Theater presents a not entirely comfortable story about one of the country's most famous artists: the composer, musician and singer Eddie Meduza.

Description
An artistry that was as provocative as it was fascinating and an undeniable part of Swedish music history.
Summer 1982. Eddie Meduza hits the public parks like a bomb. The audience makes a pilgrimage to hear him sing about punk bastards, Volvos and more brandy. Meduza's lyrics provoke a bile fever in the establishment and the pillars of society preach angrily about the decline of morality, the oppression of women and unhealthy living. The newspapers refuse to write about him. Sveriges Radio boycotts him. But nothing can stop Eddie Meduza.
Via cassette tapes sold by mail order, his music and satirical sketches spread like wildfire across the country. In teenage rooms, recreation centers and schoolyards, people tanned for spectacled snakes, "social democrats" and big tits.
20 years later, the screaming crowds are far away. Errol Norstedt sits deeply depressed on the sofa at home in Torahult, Småland. He is destitute. Hunted by the bailiff. His heart is about to give up. From the darkness, figures from the past emerge. It is time to settle accounts with the tormenting spirits of childhood.
