Wilderness Camp at Hunna Beach
The site offers swimming and camping opportunities, although the lakebed is not sandy. A simple rowing boat is available for fishing. Please do not fish directly in the swimming area. Fishing permits can be purchased online (see link).
At the tip of the peninsula, you will find a barbecue area with free firewood, as well as simple tables and benches. The firewood is stored in the red shed located on the peninsula. Fresh drinking water can be collected from the property Hunna Södregård 3.
Further inland, by the canal, there are a few mooring places where boats may pass or dock.
Regular-sized motorhomes and caravans can use the road down to the lake, which is grass-covered and reinforced with stones. The ground conditions on the peninsula vary depending on the water level in Lake Åsnen and may be softer near the tip during early spring. Heavier vehicles are therefore recommended to park a little further in. The easiest parking area for larger vehicles is approximately 50 metres from the tip of the peninsula.
The village shop Ströbergs Lanthandel in Torne is 3 km away. Trollberget, one of the entrances to the beautiful Åsnen National Park, is 11 km away. The cycling route Banvallsleden passes directly by the site, leading to Torne, onward to Trollberget, and eventually ending in Karlshamn. Grimslöv, with a petrol station and an ICA supermarket, is approximately 4 km away.
